These two famous biblical stories express eternal value of our society: respect for human dignity regardless of the circumstances. This is also an experimental theater with cantata form being adopted for the stage.

Operas such as Verdi's Aida and Gershwin's Porgy and Bess explore issues of race, religion, and class that remain relevant today.
